Once again I find myself writing about the incompetence of Cell C regarding the same issue I wrote about a couple of weeks ago. I have had major issues with cell c. My iphone contract was upgraded on a blackberry contract due to the incompetence of one of the sales consultants at the Sandton City branch. Therefore a bill of R274.90 was racked up for data. When Sandton apologised and said they would bring the contract forward I was also told that the consultant would reimburse me for the amount or Cell C would right it off. When the manager of the store called me yesterday I was told that the consultant cannot pay me back and I would get extra data for the inconvenience, however this is not good enough as I still have to pay for the R274.90 on top of my contract. I want this amount taken off my bill as promised! I have had enough of this situation and according to the consumer protection act I can cancel this contract with a certain days notice. I am VERY tempted. Please can this be sorted out as soon as possible!
