I contacted Cell C to enquire about a new contract as there were cost savings from a data point of view for business usage. I asked specifically if the sim card/contract would have capacity to be used in a blackberry device like normal and whether or not data would be available as I was getting the contract with an alternate phone. I was told more than once, yes, there will be no issue using this contract with the blackberry and all will work as per your requirements. I cancelled my long standing contract with Vodacom and moved to the cell c package. I have spent 6 weeks now trying to get data and any form of blackberry services to work on the device. I have spent days in cell c stores, wasting countless hours with call centres and found out that this is not a possibility. Neither the Blackberry services nor the data will work on my blackberry and I am now stuck with a contract that is pointless and is costing me money as I have had to purchase pay as you go data separately.

In addition the sales person has stopped responding to me and I have left messages for the sales manager who also will not get back to me. I am now stuck with a contract that I don't want and cant use..
