Simple Migration Requested - Still Waiting

Last week I contacted Telkom after trying a number of service providers and asked them to sign me up for one of their 2Mbps uncapped packages.
I was initially on a 1mbps line with Telkom.

After the sales rep confirmed that my line supported 2mbps and that the conversion would be a simple migration, I expected Telkom to jump at the opportunity of securing me as not only an ADSL line subscriber, but also as a Telkom ISP subscriber.

However, I am still waiting for my line conversion and to be contacted by Telkom with my login details.

Should I consider disconnecting my line and going 3G or perhaps contacting an alternate ISP to get my service through them?
