Can't pay my own cellphone account after 3 months

I was co-owner of a cc which ceased operating voluntarily in February and closed its accounts in June. My cellphone is paid from that cc, so I have been trying to do a cession so that I can pay my cell privately since April. It is now the end of July. My ex partner is still listed as the contact person for my account with Nashua even though the cc is closed. They don't listen that the cc doesnt exist and that it's crazy not to list me as the contact person. I tried Nashua Northgate first in April, they didn't send my documents through at all. Then I tried Centurion in June. I sent my docs several times. They promised that it would be done, but I am still waiting two months later. When I phoned Centurion just now, Miana told me that the cession is in progress and she will escalate it to a manager, but she is leaving next week. She would not send me a confirming email that anything was being done. All I want to do is to be able to pay my own cellphone account. Why is that so hard? And why can't they phone me or email me with progress on my own account?
