A Cell C employee to me and now he is nowhere to be found. His name is Stiya Mahlahlela. He told me that I did not have enough credit to open a cellphone contract, but offered me an alternative- a straight up 50 contract with a sim card only. After paying consistently for 3 months, I would qualify for a handset. After the 3 months were over I went to the Cell C Norwood Mall branch to open the contract, but I was told that I had been signed up for a 6 month contract, and that a 3 month contract does not exist.
I called on the 16th July 2013 to report him. The woman on the phone said that she tracked my interaction with Stiya to a particular desk. She said that she would call me back once she had walked upstairs to see who worked at that desk. It has been a week now and she has not called me back.
I called head office on the 18th July and spoke to a woman named Ganel Lottering. I told her my story and she said that she would do an investigation into it and get back to me the next day. I haven't heard from her either.
I called head office again and Ganel was unavailable. A woman named Kathija Mirase said that she would e-mail Ganel as a reminder. I have still heard nothing
