We relocated from Sasolburg to Jeffreys Bay almost 5 years ago, January 2009. We discontinued our line and internet before we left and asked whether the account was paid in full. We were informed that everything was settled and that there is no outstanding amount. Telkom never discontinued our internet service - which we only realized after almost a year. After numerous calls, letters and communication we are still receiving bills and now a threat that our assets will be sold to cover the billing amount. We have no idea where to turn since this matter just keeps on coming back. We have been told several times that the issue will be resolved, but after a couple of months it just reappears again. The matter just never gets resolved.
