I bought a cell c dongle as backup for when my adsl goes down, but what a waste of time because the Cell C dongle never works!
I needed to use it 2 weeks ago and it still didnt work so I went into the Cresta Cell C shop and spent THREE HOURS in the shop while the staff tried to get it working (I am 7 months pregnant so this was not a pleasant experience), eventually I couldnt wait any longer and they kept the dongle overnight and I fetched it the next day. They told me that it is now working, but it isnt, same problem, it says NO SERVICE.
The dongle must be faulty and I told them this many times within the 3 hrs that I waited the day before, but still no offer to try a new one, even just to see if it was the dongle that is faulty.
I had to load credits onto this dongle to 'get it to work' which is like throwing money down the toilet because I cant use those credits/airtime because the dongle doesn't work.
At the least I want my money back for the credits that I loaded and will never be able to use, then I will throw the dongle in the trash where it belongs.
