Made payment to Vodacom & they're unable to trace

I have bought an airtime for R50.00 using internet banking and received the following message from the bank: Tansaction S. Somacele has topped up... 6341 with R50.00 ON 09/07/2013, REF :2013-07-09/ and the phone to be credited was 072 431 4792 of which the airtime was never processed by Vodacom. I was advised by their call centre Yandi Myeko that it is untraceable as the number is no longer active with Vodacom. Olivia tried to speak to their accounts department and advised that I must speak to the bank and asked them to reverse. Nedbank advised that the money has gone through to Vodacom even though the number is no longer active so they cannot reverse. Called Vodacom again and Yandi advised that I should have known the disclaimer of using the internet banking that there will be no refunds. I have never come across this kind of service in my entire life, a company as huge as Vodacom with no customer's interest at heart. No passion only pushing the business and giving all these nice promotions without giving service follow-up. It's a small amount, but the principle and at list to show empathy and to value their client because except for the pre-paid I have a contract with them.
