Refusing a Refund

On Sunday the 7th July 2013, I tried to load airtime onto my Cell C modem, for some reason my bank (FNB) never informed anyone that the airtime purchase service was down for maintenance. About 20 minutes after this, I got 5 SMS's from my bank informing me that a total amount of R 790 was deducted off my bank account for airtime (R150 x 1 and R 160 x 4) I have since contacted my bank to reverse the charges and refund my money as I do not need R 790 worth of airtime! They told me I might need to contact Cell C, I have now contacted Cell C to try and get a refund on the amount that was deducted from my account for airtime. I have had an email back from them with a ONE LINE answer "Kindly be advice that we don't refund for self-service activations." I would NEVER load this amount of money onto ANY of my phones (not even my personal cell phone number!!). I find this absolutely disgusting. I'm now sitting with R 790 worth of airtime on my modem that I do not need, and instead of having money in my account for necessities I sit with nothing. I find this out of line and disgusting.
