I phoned Telkom today to find out what the status of my order for a new line is after waiting 3 weeks and hearing nothing. I am forced to get a Telkom line in order to get ADSL at home otherwise I WOULD NEVER use them. The call centre has just informed me that the order was cancelled and it wasn't an order for a new line it was the transfer of my existing line. I have never had a Telkom account in my name ever and I definitely didn't cancel the order.
I hate dealing with Telkom, they have the WORST customer service in South Africa. No wonder everyone is cancelling their lines and sticking to mobile phones.
