TELKOM SYSTEM FAILING CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS

I applied for Telkoms Killer deal on 23 March at Telkom Direct, Cresta. I had an existing pre-paid line. After several calls to "Authorisations" and visits to Telkom Direct in Cresta, a Telkom technician came to install my line. The line has been there for more than 10 years. His work order said nothing about ADSL. After nearly another two weeks nothing has changed other than the order was cancelled and a new order issued several times. Yesterday I spent more than an hour being helped at Telkom Direct, but the system is so slow the agent had to reboot her PC. This morning a call to "New services" took more than 30 minutes and I was informed that they cannot tell me what is happening. Does Telkom really want our business? Does Telkom know that their system is not performing? The staff are helpful but limited by their resources, in my opinion.
