I have suffered through the worst experience (except death) once again in dealing with Telkom. At first I had to order a line for my new house (it had an existing line in the house). This took three weeks (it took the tech literaly 5 mins for the so called installation). I then order a 4meg adsl line including telkom line rental from MWEB. It is now the second time the feedback from telkom is that the number is invalid. I receive an account from telkom how can this number be invalid. I have tried to contact Telkom the first time the response was there is no faults or anything and I must reapply through MWEB, again same feedback from Telkom. This time I am trying to make contact via Email as I am not currently in SA 3 business days later no reply. In the meantime I am losing money and Telkom just pull up their shoulders. In my opinion Telkom is runed by a cartel keeping their clients hostage with their poor service just because there is no other choices. I am fed up with the Telkom incompetence
