Given a damaged phone upon sign my cell contract

On the day I arrive to Telkom mobile in chatsworth centre to pick up my new Samsung S4 for the contract that I signed the day before the consultant dropped my new phone while trying to insert the sim card .. the phone was dented and they assume no responsibility for what has happened... not only is the physical damage but due to physical damage my phone warranty now falls away..

I am very upset with their service and strongly advise people against spending their hard earned cash with Telkom mobile chatsworth as all they care about is making a sale and not their customer service
