I telephoned the central Cell C contact centre to have a data contract I have with them cancelled. The agreement expired 3months ago. I was transfered to their cancellation line at every instance afer which no one answered the phone. The last time I was transfered I waited for over 5min before the call was terminated without any answer. I subsequently telephoned the call centre a 4th time after which an operator assured me that she would escalate the issue and provided me with a refernece number 3053002869. It has now been around 2 weeks without any contact being made. I have very little opportunity during normal work hours to handle any personal matters and can see no reason why I should be forced to do so due to pathetic service delivery. At this point, the renewal of my other Cell C contracts will not be my foremost concern come the end of the year. I've never had these issues with my previous Vodacom accounts. Now I'm waiting for a reason not to revert back to Vodacom.
