I went to Cape Gate Centre on 12 June 2013 because of my faulty router.
I had a problem with my new line they have installed, sat on the phone for 6 hours trying to resolve this. NOBODY was able to assist me with the error that was displayed. I then decided to go to Telkom in Cape Gate to resolve the matter in the store. As I walked into the store I asked if they could exchange the modem for me As the call center said I should ask them. HE then replied with an EXTREMELY bad attitude, I should go to Tygervalley as they do not have stock.
I then replied that I feel like just cancelling the contract, to which THIS guy replied: there is the phone, go phone! What the?
I then phoned, and I was told that the Cape Gate Branch should have one delivered TO Cape Gate. He then said that this is not his JOB!
I asked him what kind of service is this, whilst he just walked away and left me standing there! THIS is what Telkom pays their people to do? I went to Tygervalley, where I was met with a VERY friendly gentlemen, called Brent, he ssorted out my problem with NO hassle.
I feel that this guy from Cape Gate, THE BALD colored guy was EXTREMELY rude!!! My problem was sorted privately!
