On 19/11/2013 I bought a VKom 3G wifi router from Computer Mania Cape Gate. The router gave problems from the word go. Sometimes I had to reboot it up to 4x before it would pick up the 3G modem. During December my business was closed and I did not give attention to the matter. During January the problem got worse and then there was total failure to pick up the modem.
I took the router back and boy oh boy, was I met by an attitude. The "manager", Grant, is the most unhelpful and I don't care person I have ever met in business. He just said that he did not manufacture the product and he will send it to head office. I asked him how long this process will take and he just said that he doesn't know. When I demanded a time period from him he threatened to have me thrown out of the shop.
Stay away from this shop. I see that they have a reputation for bad service.
Where in the CPA does it state that there is only 10 days for you to return and exchange a faulty product?
