I upgraded my contract from a talk 100 to a VIP Package (unlimited -R1999/month) last week on the 2nd of July 2013... After signing the contract and leaving the Vodacom store, i decided to call the the store back and find out when does the contract actually activate... I WAS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT THE UNLIMITED PACKAGE ONLY STARTS FROM THE 1ST OF AUGUST... I REQUESTED..."WHY DOES THE PACKAGE NOT GET CALCULATED PRORATA... AND THE RESPONSE WAS THAT PRORATA ONLY APPLIES FOR NEW CONTRACTS"... I THINK THAT THIS IS TOTALLY NOT FAIR AS I ENTHUSIASTICALLY WENT TO TAKE OUT THE CONTRACT, ONLY TO FIND OUT I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE 1ST AUGUST FOR MY UNLIMITED CALLS... AND FURTHER MORE AFTER CALLING VODACOM CALL CENTRE NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHATS THE REASON IT CAN CALCULATED PRORATA... I NEED ANSWERS...'''URGENTLY'''...
