Last year I took out a contract from MTN in Ladybrand for a 2gigabite @ R149 per month. In November I decided to change the contract to an uncapped contract that was R300 per month. I called the branch and spoke to Christiaan to change the contract, where he replied all is in order and no need to go in for signage. In January I got an account for R3000.00 than was unacceptable because I had an uncapped contract for R299 per month. I called the branch, and they said that they will follow it up. I also have a normal contact with them, because of the unpaid account for the uncapped contract I was unable to use my cellphone. In March I went to their office because I had to upgrade on my cellphone contract. I asked the guy working there what was outstanding. He said that there was only R507 (can't remember the exact amount) outstanding, the rest was sorted out and credited. So I went to the bank and paid over the money. I could use my phone for a few days, in my mind everything was sorted. When I called again it was sorted and now I needed to pay the amount of about R5000, for 2 contracts that I had no use of.
