I requested for a new landline, I already had the line running from the street to the wall jack in my study, all the technician did was replace my jack with a new looking box, move it from one wall to another and now they want to charge me R406 for that? I refuse to believe that moving a jack from one wall to another and replacing an existing jack could cost that much. I will not pay for a jack installation that never happened.
I spoke to 4 different people at telkom who kept putting my through to each other, and then the 4th person wanted to put me back to the first person that I originally spoke to, bunch of incompetent people who don't know what they are doing.
On top of that, the amount that I must pay for my line (about R180) was supposed to be set up as a debit order, and it seems this was not done as I have received an invoice for the amount indicated.
Please sort this out ASAP as I will not be paying the R406 until the issue is cleared up.
