I used the services of Jack Wellsted for a relocation from South Africa to Oman. Part of the service offered by Jack Wellsted was to insure all our household articles.
At time of un-packing our belongings in Oman, we found various damaged items, and subsequently lodge a claim against the insurance offered to us by Jack Wellsted.
The insurance company responded that they are willing to pay our claim and that we are within our rights to claim, however, they can't pay us out our claim as Jack Wellsted never paid the insurance premium to them. I want to make it clear that we paid Jack Wellsted In full for their services as well as insurance premiums.
I have been battling since October 2012 to get this resolved. I even had a promise from Denis Kaye from Jack Wellsted that he will pay us directly. During a telephone conversation, Dennis admitted to me that Jack Wellsted did not pay the insurance premiums and that he will resolve it and pay us within 24 hours.
Up to today it has not been resolved and we have not received our insurance payment.
Anyone re-locating should completely avoid using the services of Jack Wellsted
