Incorrect account activation and shocking service!

On 21 April 2013, my fiancee and I signed up for the MTN Broadband Lite (Uncapped) package and were informed that it would take 24-48 hours to activate. 2 weeks later together with numerous calls to the branch & call centre, we were finally activated, however on the INCORRECT package. We then complained to the branch and a week later after nothing was done and no one returning our calls, we were extremely unhappy with the service and decided to cancel everything and returned the device. We specifically asked if there were any amounts that were to be paid, the woman assisting us assured us that we would not pay anything other than the amount for the data we used (amounting to R148.72). The very next day we received a call from the MTN branch to inform us that we were activated on the correct package. The consultant asked if we would like to stay with them and we replied by saying "No, Cancel everything"! Our first statement arrived and amounted to R692.81. Far more than what was expected. We then complained at the branch, where one of the consultants got particularly rude with us. Since then only R115.93 has been credited but nothing has been refunded! Absolutely shocking service!!
