I signed up a contract for a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on a Cell C network with Nashua Mobile on 29 Jan 2013. I collected the device on the same day and was told that the data sim card would be activated in 24 hrs. 24hrs passed the data sim was not activated, I called their client call center to find out why was the data sim not activated. I was told that it should be activated in 24hrs and request has been sent to their activation department. Still after 48hrs the data sim is still not activate and I followed up with the client call center and I was told that there is nothing that they can do for me I just have to wait for the sim to be activated. I then advised the call center agent that I want to cancel the contract because I'm not deriving the value I have anticipated and I was told that I would be liable for cancelling fee which I refused to pay. I'm unable to use the device because the sim was not activated yet when I cancel I'm expected to pay fees for terminating the contract. This is unfair to me and they are not even able to tell me when the sim will be activated. I really regret going the Nashua route while I could get the same device from other providers.
