NEVER OPEN A CONTRACT WITH 8ta. In fact, dont even use them for prepaid.
I tried to open a contract with 8ta, however due to the ineptitude of their staff, I could not. I was to by 2 separate consultants with regards to the package I could get. Only once I had the phone did I realise that I was not given correct info. After trying to get the phone for a week and having to go into Canal Walk 4 times i finally received my new phone. After being messed around SO much, and being to I decided that 8ta did not deserve my business (or ANY business), so I returned the phone. I was ASSURED that I would not get billed for this. Only to find out on the first of this month that R699 had been deducted off my account, not the promised R388 for the contract. I am completely astonished that this "company" is still running considering its incapabilities. Not only have I been to directly to my face on 3 SEPARATE occasions, but I have spent huge amounts of time and petrol money having to actually go into the store because they cant answer their phones. THIS IS DISGUSTING 8ta! I have no other choice than to complain on every social networking site i can find and then take it to the CPA
