I am very disappointed in Vodacom! This weekend I received a new phone as a gift and now needed a smartphone contract. after shopping around I went back to vodacom to get the best offer they could give me and it wasn't good enough so I decided to cancel my current contract with them. I called the number they gave me in-store for cancellations and was told it is a simple process.

However I called them received the quote I should pay (which was a ripoff as need to pay for the rest of the 5 months i wont be using the contract) however I payed the ridiculous amount. It has been more than 24 hours now and still no response or acknowledgement of payment even after I emailed the proof and all documents to them. When I called the cancellation number again today I was told that vodacom no longer sends quotes before the 5th and I received one by mistake and thus they will have to send me a new quote after the 5th. The point is I PAID ALREADY!!!

Then when asked to speak to the manager in charge I was told she is busy and won't get back to me today only tomorrow???
