My 24 month contract with Vodacom at the 30th of June 2013. I called 082 1958 a month in advance as was told on the 30th of June my contract would be cancelled.

SuprisE!! On the 1st of July it was still active, I called in again and was told it would only be possible on the 31st of July, as the agent did not process the request.

Today is the 2nd of August 2013 my contract is still not cancelled!!!

I called the 082 1958 cancellations number on the 1st of August and was even sent an sms notifying me of a ref number that within 24 hours the admin department (would does not take calls) would process this request!!!

Today I called again! And the lady on the line said that the agent from the previous day did not request an immediate cancellation PATHETIC!!! And she works in a cancellation department really>?

Now I need to turn off my phone for a FURTHER 24 hours in order for the number to be ported to prepaid- PATHETIC VODACOM REALLY!

You not only rip off the people of South Africa, with your new contract deals but your service is pathetic!

Vodacom also has a limit on the amount of times you may call their 114 number really???
