I will be going on holiday soon and requested that Virgin M activate my phone for international roaming. After waiting for more than a week, the call centre eventually responded. They demanded that I deposit TEN THOUSAND Rand as a pre-requisite for roaming. To put this in context, my cellphone contract is only for R390 per month for 24 months! I cannot believe this!
