I was the victim of a smash and grab in Braamfontein during which my phone was. I blocked the phone and did all measures to ensure that the account was closed. 3 Days later when I went to collect my new simcard the store clerck reactivated my old sim card and calls to the amount of R35 000 was made. I queried this and the case was handed over to the risk department. I was assured that this amount would not be taken from my account. Well, this morning a debit order to the amount of R41 376.01 was taken from my account. I fail to see why I should be paying for a mistake made by their store staff as they assured me that this would not be the case.
