Following up on my 3G account being over R4000 after the sim card and number was blocked following a smash and grab. according to MTN when a number is blocked it still allows for subscription services to be charged for. this is unacceptable as the reason a sim card and number is blocked is so that nobody can use your account. Shockingly i found out that I had been subscribed to a service - Via Media - and being charged for it without my consent. Currently my in billed balance is over is a huge amount for this subscription which I did not sign up for. Does this not contradict what i tried to prevent by blocking the sim card and the number. MTN has refused to block this via media subscription saying I have to contact Via Media. I tried this but the number I was given doesn't even ring. I absolutely refuse to take accountability for this, as it is. I will be opening up a case of against MTN and VIA MEDIA.
