Debited my account after making a cash payment in the store. I was assured that the debit order would not go off and low and behold it did and I ended up paying twice. When contacting them with they admitted the mistake but I have to call them back in three days to have them debit the money back.
Why should I do the work and phone them back? I don't work for MTN and they know the problem so rectify it bad-mannered accounts person on the phone..
Never again will I get a contract with them, this is the third time I have had an issue with them, the first leaving me without cell phone service on a work trip because they can't rica a sim on time when I was assured it would be, just like I was assured the debit order would not come off my account... And dare you try and contact the store because it's a "walk in store" with no phone, no phone... really? You think they could get a good deal on one?. Oh but wait, you will find a number on the invoice of the sales person who helped you but you may not be shocked to find out the number no longer exists...
When you do eventually navigate your way around the maze of pre-recorded number pushing you will be met by a rude telephonic monkey.
