I am a very disgruntled Vodacom customer. Since April we've been having network problems in the Pretoriuskop area in the Kruger National Park. The problem became severe about a week ago, we couldn't make or receive calls or use our laptops that use Vodacom modems. I resorted to using my daughter's cellphone who is on the MTN network. I reported the issue twice but it was never resolved as they said there doesn't seem to be a problem. I bought the power hour twice only to find that i couldnt use it due to network problems. I couldnt use my laptop for weeks and my data bundles are about to expire. I dont know if this is a way to make money off people by making them buy or pay for services they cant use until time expires. If I wasnt bound by a contract, I would definitely change service providers. The situation has only become better today cause i've been making and receiving calls since morning and I have managed to log on to my computer, although the service is slow and becomes inturrupted. This problem has far reaching consequences cause we cant get updates from banks as we are not getting smses in time. I wonder who will be responsible should my bank account be compromised.
