Contract inactive 5 weeks after I got the phone

I ordered a new phone on 26 April 2013, it took 3 weeks to get the phone from Midrand to Centurion, first signs of trouble...

I wanted to port my existing MTN prepaid number to a Vodacom contract. It took a further 3 weeks for the consultant to realise that I needed a new vodacom SIM for the port to go through, mind you I asked if the MTN SIM would work on vodacom (obviously surprised). I was told it would be active within 7 days.

Eventually I was issued a new vodacom SIM, and two weeks later my contract is still not active. I've been sent from pillar to post and given countless stories about why the port hasn't gone through.

What is more frustrating is that they all promise to call back with answers, which they never do. And just to rub salt to the wound, they actually bill me for the phone I can't use. INCOMPETENCE TO THE CORE!!!

I regret making the decision to go into business with Autopage, I will not recommend them to anyone!

I wish there was a way to get out of this contract.
