My phone has been in repairs for over 2 weeks. Upon receiving my phone back yesterday it returned without my sim card. Today i call into this supposedly awesome customer care line to do a sim swap for my convenience but to my dismay i am told i have failed the security check. I have had this sim card for over 5 years. I am now told i need to go to a vodacom store which is an inconvenience for me. Question asked was how much airtime was last left in my phone, R00.00! What calling option is my sim card on? Call per second. What was the last phone my sim card was used in? Blackberry 8520. What did i exchange my talking points for? SMSES.What were the last 5 numbers dialled from my phone? I don't remember as my phone was in repairs. Now i have not had my phone for over 2 weeks what do u expect me to do. The consultant Shanelle Lottering and the assistant manager Marcelino Marias were of no assistance accept pure rudeness and lack of customer centricity. If this is how vodacom behaves then so be it, If i have to go an do a sim swap at a vodacom store then i will also go to a MTN or CELLC store and PORT my number. I could go on about the service received but there aren't enough characters.
