Sim Card not working

I did an upgrade in December 2012 and since I had my new phone I wasnt able to use Play store as nothing would dowmload, I thought it was a the phone and sent it in for repairs. When it came back it worked for about 2 weeks and failed again. I took it back to MTN at N1 City and after a huge struggle they gave me a new phone. I have had this phone now since Feb 2013 and Playstore worked fine for again about 2 weeks or so and just stopped again. Also my attachments from emails could also not open. I went back to MTN and they said they cannot assist me, because they don't know whats wrong and said I have to send it in again for repairs. I refused coz I already did this and it did not work. About a month ago I put a Vodacom Sim Card in and everything worked perfectly! So I know that it was my simcard. Again I went back to othe same MTN store and they said that the simcard could be vualty and the only way to recover it is to do a sim swap which i already did in Feb when I got my new phone which I had to pay for. Again I had to pay for the second sim swap in less than 6 months! This in unacceptable and the service at N1 City MTN is ridiculous!
