A few weeks ago decided that I wanted to cancel my MTN contract and move to another provider due do MTN not having the device I wanted. I went to MTN in Tygervalley and ask the gentleman there if I can cancel my contract and if there will be any fees. I gave my number and he checked up and said no there will be no fees since my contract has already expired.
The same info was given to me on 06.18.2013 at the canal walk branch. On the 06.19.2013 the next day I went to Tygervalley and told them I would like to cancel my contract today, but now I was told " sorry sir but your contract end date is only on 07.10.2013 and if you want to cancel now there will be a penalty fee".
Now I ask myself why was I told by two different employees that I can cancel and there will be no fees and today its a different story.
