Cant make calls

I have put in porting request about two weeks ago no word from virgin mobile nothing all of a sudden today I cant make or receive any calls.tried calling the call centre and they told me they will send the request to the it dept which is on duty and they will call me but nothing.if this kind of service is continueing im going to cancel my contract.
