Cannot send MMS with Virgin Mobiles

I have been a Virgin Mobile customer for - 4 years. Close to a year ago, I was suddenly unable to send an MMS or receive an MMS from my phone. I thought this was a problem with my phone. However, I have recently been upgraded with an Android Samsung Galaxy S6810 and STILL cannot send or receive an MMS. I called Virgin Mobile call centre today, 26 September 2013 and was told that it should work but she would find out more for me. SHe gets back to me telling me that Virgin has had a problem with sending and receiving MMS's and that they are in the process of fixing it. I responded to this by saying that I have not been able to send a photo via MMS for over 6 months and she said they were aware of the problem but could not tell me when Virgin would be fixing this. I find it highly unprofessional that a company as large as Virgin Mobile cannot fix a problem like this within a couple of days, not over 6 months! Please can someone let me know when I will be able to send an MMS again. If I had known this before, I would never have upgraded with Virgin and would have renewed my contract to another network where people can send MMS's.
