Good day
I have quite serious question.since june 2012???
when signing a 24 month contract with a service provider, one would think that you would pay for a service.
I have recently had quite a run in with Vodacom with this regards.
according to their legal department their contract states that: the consumer agrees to pay the full amount, regardless whether or not they receive a satisfactory service.
what happened in my case, i made probably in the region of 150 service problem calls, ranging from customer care, data centre and eventually legal department.
needless to say, absolutely nothing was done to rectify the problem and until today no one has contacted me wrt to the the problem.i eventually stopped paying them, but still, nobody bothered to find out why.
the first I heard was from fnb, when my home loan was declined due to a default registered by Vodacom.
I would like to know, why is Vodacom so special that they can hand someone over, without solving a query first, thats like a surgeon ing up an operation and then handing you over for non payment, while you are challenging them In court.it is clear the with the cpa and all the laws in place, they may still the consumer.
