I went into the gateway store (Mobile Communications) in April to add a account onto my existing MTN contract I was assisted by Thevashen. On the 17 april i was approved for a samsung mini, but once my contract was approved i noticed that i did not receive what i was promised upon signing the contract. The phone was delivered to my home and was activated by Thevi, i was told to lcharge the phone for 5 hours, which i did. On the second day the phone was returned to the store and the requested for the contract to be cancelled. The phone was never used, according to the store their was data charged, which if so was done once the consultant activated the phone, But my main issue was that if a contrCT CAN NOT BE CANCELLED IF DATA OR AIRTIME IS USED WHY ARE WE NOT TOLD THAT WHEN SIGNING A CONTRACT, I WAS ALREADY DEDUCTED R621 FOR A PHONE THAT I DO NOT HAVE . I have numerous ref numbers from the MTN RETENTIONS DEPARTMENT stating that the contract can be cancelled but we have to go back to the store, but the store is just giving me the run arround, im told i have to wait but in the meantime im being charged for somthing i dont have
