I've been trying to apply for a contract with MTN for almost a month. When I went into the MTN store in Rosebank I had all my paperwork with me. While there, I explained that I was moving to a new place of employment that I had already signed a contract for, and was currently working my notice at my previous job. I then included my new offer of employment, and new contract, along with all the other paperwork.

Days went by with me trying to call the branch at least once every hour, and them never answering until eventually I got hold of Ethel, the lady who had helped me with my application. She told me it had been declined because the people who are on charge of applications didn't believe I was employed. Upon consulting my HR team, they told me that someone did call, but was so inaudible and spoke such poor English that she had no idea who or what they were talking about. With HR's blessing, I called the store back immediately to tell them they could clear up the confusion by calling back. They assured me they would do that that day.
