I am a contract client through Vodacom. I upgraded to the Blackberry Bold 9790 in September 2012 and had nothing but trouble with it ever since. The problems came to a peak when the phone started switching itself on and off, scrolling by itself, etc during evacuations on our job site. I took the handset to the local dealer, who sent it through to Johannesburg in February 2013. Approximately three months later, after having to contact the dealer myself I got the phone back (08/05/2013). Absolutely nothing was done to repair the phone, and it even had more problems than when I sent it in originally, like no longer being able to unlock. I took the handset back on Monday 10/05/2013. On Thursday 13/05/2013 I got the call that my phone was ready for pick-up and that it is repaired. To my shock I had to realize that the only change was that the phone was wiped clean of all info, but the problems still persisted, with yet another additional problem - the handset speaker no longer works. I yet again took the phone back and am awaiting feedback... What kind of service am I paying for? Is this the status quo? Please advise on what I stand to do... This is the worst service I ever received!!!
