SIM SWAP Pathetic

It has now been 40 hours since I've upgraded my contract and had to get a new micro sim. The new sim is still not active. This after calls to the supplier and they said they would have it done immediately.
This is nonsense, as I need my phone to conduct business. Also, the 7 day return policy on the phone would not should not be activated until the sim is active and you can actually test the phone.
I've been with MTN since 1996, and the service is starting to go down the tubes... same as alll the government departments.
