No micro sim for my smartphone

I received my s4 on Thursdays 27 June 2013. To my surprise they'd send me a standard simcard which is too big for this smartphone.

I ended up having to purchase a new micro sim and request that they do a sim swap which was going to be fully activated by Saturday 29 june at 11am. It's 48 hours later and I am unable to enjoy my phone because the sim is still not active. I am told to purchase yet another micro sim and redo the sim swap or water another 48 hours for cell c to response to my logged case, then another 5 to 7 working days for a microsim to be delivered to me.

Had I'd know that trying another serbice provider would have brought me so much drama, I wouldn't have bothered.
