This is the third time in as many months that I have had to do a sim swap with MTN. Each time I have been told it will take place within 2 to 24 hours. It has never been done in the 24 hour period resulting in numerous phone calls and lots of frustration!
I did the sim swop on the 17th of January and despite calls to 808 this has still not happened! It has been escalated twice, and once again I have been advised that it will take between 2 to 24 hours! I am just sick and fed up hearing them say it will take 2 to 24 hours! Once a problem gets escalated it is not unreasonable to expect it to receive priority and be sorted out within a few hours.
