VODACOM WIPED MY PHONE DATA WITHOUT MY CONSENT

Took my phone in to Vodacom Repairs in Sandton City. I clearly explained to the consultant NOT TO WIPE MY PHONE DATA because I didn't backup my data because my phone won't start. She went to the back to speak with someone to have a look at my phone. She returned and assured me that my phone will not be wiped and just an LCD replacement needs to be done. After signing the contract to hand in the phone, she wrote with her pen on the signed contract - NOT TO BE WIPED. I asked her again and she assured me it won't be wiped.

I went there today - 7 days later. AND MY PHONE HAS BEEN WIPED. She just looked at me and blamed it on the Head Office. I asked why I wasn't contacted before it was wiped. She couldn't answer me. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE
