I purchased a new phone from Cell C Direct last week. I went into the Eastgate branch on saturday to connect it and they said I needed to call Cell C Direct on monday as they are closed - the owner was surprised as she said they usually open until 2pm.
I have tried 4 times to get hold of them this morning. Each time I had to ring off as I was holding too long.
They give an alternate sms or email address to contact alternatively - which I have also done but noone has replied to me yet.
I am on hold again right now, going on 50 minutes.
I find this service completely unacceptable.
All I want to do is use my new phone and now I can't.
I regret upgrading!
Luckily we can return our purchase within 30 days which I am strongly considering.
The phone contract is the same on competitors network so I may aswell go with them as they have more stores in more locations for assistance.
