Why should i have to carry on

I took a 99cents contract last year october on a 800 minutes package. Just before signing the contract in the eastgate branch, i witnessed another gentleman sitting next to me going mad and complaining of the issue of his calls being cut the whole time. He strongly advised me not to sign, however after speaking to the lady assistant in the shop she advised me that the network was in the process of being upgraded and this would be completed by end december 2012. I went into the branch last week to cancel my contract as the problem still persists, and contacts of mine complain that they try and get hold of me for days and my phone just diverts. Cell c informs me that i have to complete the remaining two months of shocking service and pay them for it. My boss has threatened to take my cell phone allowance away as he cant get hold of me. My phone is constantly on. I could have taken the contract for 1 month as i did not opt to take a phone. The assistant in the shop now claims there are no network issues. I advised her to go and google it. Her CEO is on the internet commenting on the issues they are trying to resolve.
