I applied for a neotel contract. I have had a telkom line for 30 years. I just received an email from neotel stating that my application has been denied. Their 'credit matrix' system turned me down?!
I have never been denied credit in my life. My financial situation is as follows... I OWN a house on Mt. Edgecombe country club golf estate. I have just sold my house for R3.7 million rand. Once my bond is paid, I will have R2.8 million rand in the bank! I have ZERO debt. Own my car, own a R300 000 Harley Davidson, both fully paid for! I have a Wits university teachers degree. I own my own karate school in Umhlanga, and have owned and run it for 10 years now! I earn R20 000 net a month. My wife is a principal of a pre-primary school in Durban North. I am still laughing! Neotel, in their wisdom denied me a neotel phone?!?! They never even asked me for proof of income. How they decide that I am not credit worthy, is disgraceful and a personal insult!!! I intend telling consumer watch and every possible public platform what an unprofessional outfit Neotel is!!!
