Neotel don't know their OWN Systems

I have been experiencing issues calling a WorldCall number provided by iBurst.

After Neotel took TWO weeks to ascertain whether they were blocking the number, I turned to iBurst for assistance. iBurst advised that Neotel needed to change the codex on my phone to g729 enable and set as priority as the currently enabled codex of g711 caused failure as overseas vendor blocked it.

Neotel firstly could not understand what I was saying, and then asked me to contact iBurst so that iBurst could tell THEM how to make the change on their OWN system!!!

This matter has now been with Neotel for more than TWO WEEKS and it is still not resolved, and to add insult to injury, I have not heard from their Operations manager, Tsego, for more than a week with any form of progress update.

Nice going, Neotel... maybe Telkom is still a viable option.
