Incompetent telkom

I Live in the upper tongaat area on the north coast of KZN, I have a telkom line which works (if you lucky) 2 days a week every second week. All you ever hear is the cables were OR the fibre optic is burnt, whatever.!!! surely a huge big company like you guys knows what PROACTIVE means? I have lived with this continual aggravation for 2 nearly 3 years. What is the problem? It takes sometimes up to two weeks for any of the listed problems to be solved. Surely there must be a solution to this on going! I am sick and tired of spending my life on the phone reporting my line out of order!!! This area is one where there is a very weak cell phone signlal, so we rely on our landlines quite seriously!!! if we get sick and need an ambulance - what do we do - JUST DIE??? MY TELEPHONE NUMBER IS 032 942 8550 AND IT IS REGISTERED UNDER THE NAME OF B. JONES!!! There has to be some solution to this ongoing problem or is it that you just arent interested???
