Hi Guys
We recently applied to have a telkom phone line installed at our townhouse complex. The complex was built around 4/5 years ago and we have been staying there for 2 years now. After not getting an answer on line quality in our area we were still approved for it and the next day I recevied the following sms from telkom:
"Telkom has to provide new infrastructure to your area, your request has been listed but is currently outside our build program for this financial year" Please explain this as a new exchange box of telkom was put up on the corner of our street last year. I have seen a couple of complaints of people getting the same sms from telkom as a response. I just want a telephone line and later on get adsl. why are they oushing new clients away???
